(no subject)

I really should get out of the habit of hissing whenever I hear somebody answering the phone to a client.

You should cross yourself instead...

I have offensive gentures for such purposes.

I've just been told off for my standard line of "Ohferfcksake!" just before I pick up the calls. Interestingly it's not for the language or the volume - I should just stop making any other work monkeys laugh.

I've had that.

Wouldn't worry - I still do it whenever I go past my old place of work. I haven't worked there for about 4 years, have had 3 places of work since then (none of which I hiss at) and I live 100 miles away from it, yet whenever I pass it, or someone even if someone mentions it in passing, then I automatically hiss! Might have something to do with the nervous breakdown they pushed me into...?

But meh - wouldn't worry about it! :P
