Forgot to tell [livejournal.com profile] bacony that I was going to SoS. Forgot to bring socks home from Manchester. Forgot to take overnight bag from Manchester to SoS.

On the plus side, remembered that Boston Advance is the same product as my usual Bausch and Lomb contact lens solutions, only with different packaging, which was handy as the Asda we went to had one but not the other.

Response to potential Maelstrom character has been underwhelming and noncommital (one email expressing vague reservations and a large amount of nothing). May shelve it in favour of respectful gardener.

Now I go to a pub to drink non-alcoholic beverages with [livejournal.com profile] icklejo and [livejournal.com profile] arwel. Ta-ta!

Sory Dude, don't really want to be the fascist but IMHO I think we need to a bit purist to start off with. Anything could happen after the first event though.

Would this gardener have bonsai mountains possibly? :)

I'm not so sure. It's not as if Andy is talking about playing a Dryad with a gun, or an amplecrumbelite with a hang-glider. His basic concept is a Dryad who helps illustrate certain Kamakura concepts and helps us as a group put across one of our enlightened ideas - the idea of the Awakened being an exerise of pro-active Enlightenment. Hopefully he'll set a great example to all the trees, rocks and gems (and mountains and rivers and. . . ) who are lazily just lying around isntead of getting up and going out to achieve spiritual and physical perfection. Basically, if he can get more trees down the gym, he's adding to the group concept, not diluting it.

Plus I've now seen the picture and like the look of the costume. Winking smiley.
