Thanks to the lovely mr
samharber, we now have a monitor and can therefore see the internet again! What a nice man he is. He hides it well, but we know the truth.
For anyone who's interested, here's a full list of the stuff I lost in the recent Troubles.
1 x stereo (+ 2 x speakers)
1 x PC Monitor (19" flatscreen)
1 x DVD player (+ remote)
1 x PDA (HP iPaq, circa 2003)
1 x MP3 player (Sandisc Sansa USB model)
1 x Nintendo DS
8 x DS games
1 x Kameleon 6-in-1 remote control
1 x DVD (Disc 4 of Green Wing)
1 x "Superman" backpack
6 x Surround sound speakers
1 x Motorola KRZR phone (no sim)
Backpack contents:
- 1 x Griffin Savers Action File
- Miscellaneous drawings
- 2 x Dice Bag
- 26 x dice (d10)
Like I said, mostly tech, easily replaced (much of it I wasn't even using regularly - especially the DS / MP3 / PDA) and probably not worth more than six to seven hundred quid all in. I'm more annoyed by the backpack and the DVD disc. Oh, and the massive inconvenience of not having a monitor for the PC. But that, at least, has been addressed.
EDITED TO ADD: Note that the above is only what I have lost. We have a much longer list of things stolen from Ant.

And yes I had a DS. I haven't used it much lately - I originally bought it for time spent away from home, when I was working in Kendal, I think.

That said, there was a certain amount of value in the PC itself, especially the sound card which was quite high-spec on account of the music diploma he was studying for at the time.

If you post Ant's list there may be things we have access too...
