Yeah, that's the only problem with having the 50% discount - there's not much tasty when it comes to upgrades. When I upgraded a few months back, they wanted well over 100 quid for a Nokia N95, despite me regularly spending well over the contract amount virtually every month. Ed, who has, I would hazard, spent less over the last 12 months than I did in the 12 months before my upgrade, but who has not been on the 50% discount scheme, got the N95 for free (I believe) when he upgraded.
Are you on flext yet? If not, seriously consider it - with the 50% off it's VERY tasty, and I have never come close to using it all (yes, even with the horrific abuse my phone got when Ed still lived in Newcastle, I've never used it all), meaning that for the first time in *years* I actually know how much I'm going to spend each month.
