Hospitalled

Poor Ant has been having a rough time of it, health-wise, lately. On top of the major surgery he had before Christmas - which is very nearly fully healed by now - he is now back in the hospital with what is currently believed to be appendicitis. We rushed him there last night after a day of steadily increasing abdominal pain.

He is in Tameside general hospital and will be for the next few days if anyone would like to visit, but do not bother today - when I spoke with him at lunch time he said he was scheduled for surgery "later today" so, all things being well, should by this point be relaxing with the aid of prescription medication and thus unavailable for comment. (Apparently they are giving him morphine; whether this is standard for appendectomies or a result of his adverse reaction to other anaesthetics, I do not know.)

Please keep him in your thoughts, prayers, healing magics and/or positive chi. If enough people concentrate on him at the same time, there's a slim chance he may gain godlike powers.



EDITED TO ADD: A nurse has rung to say that he is out of theatre and will be ready for visitors by evening visiting hours (6:30-8:30). Hooray!
