Lead me towards Death
Today was another day wholly wasted. Huzzah!
Last night was spent drinking and watching two films that I love, and that
pkgem had never seen before - the Powerpuff Girls movie and The Specials. Then we watched Duckula until we fell asleep (two episodes).
(Oh, and I bought pizza and icecream for all. Apparently buying ice cream that won't kill
bacony is an act of uncommon decency, or something, and she was surprisingly touched. It Just Goes To Show.)
Today was likewise spent almost entirely in front of screens of some description. After watching a fair amount of TV (and occasionally checking my E-mail - after prying
bacony away from MSN, which I'll come to later)
samharber came over so we could go to watch Big Fish (of which
samharber has posted a review). We didn't go there straight away though, because the showing wasn't for three hours - so we watched Eight Legged Freaks on DVD first. Then off to the cinema. Which was packed, being Saturday night. Oh well.
Then we went back to my place, where we spontaneously forced ourselves to watch Red Sun Rising (starring Don "The Dragon" Wilson and Terry "Jadzia Dax" Farrell), my Christmas present from
batelf. It was uninspired quasi-spiritual martial arts drivel on a level which caused even Sam to proclaim "This is what gives martial artists a bad name," and it still somehow managed to be more entertaining than Invincible. Although there were still plenty of patented Don "The Dragon" Wilson shirt-off moments to keep me awake. I think he has them written into his contract, or something.
I have to keep wrestling
bacony away from MSN Messenger, where she seems to be permanently surrounded by people who want to get into her pants (with the exception (probably) of
batelf). I think she is enjoying the novelty of being able to remote flirt with people with no risk whatsoever of actual advances. I tried to explain that the technical term for this is leading them on, but she would have none of it. "What is the point of having them if you can't play with them?" she asked, and
pkgem firmly agreed. I am not sure if she was talking about stalkers, men in general or something entirely different. My mind may well have wandered for a moment, there.
I may post my own MSN contact at some point, though I don't stay logged in a whole lot (it's annoying when you're playing Baldur's Gate and everything dies because somebody wants to chat).
Tomorrow is currently free from engagements (aside from a brief trip to Tesco to secure rations). I shall let you know.

Sizzling Bacon
Firstly and most importantly because she can.
Secondly because most of her MSN quasi-stalkers will enjoy the barriers put up by her whilst they still get chance to flirt. Most of these people are unsucessful in relationships and it does there esteem no end of good to fail and it be percieved somebody elses fault.
Thirdly because she can...
