Office conversation
Aug. 23rd, 2007 10:35 amSpotting what looked like a joke address amongst the spreadsheet for a recent data import, I discovered that there is a place in Durham called Pity Me. This led to a conversation about a place in Yorkshire called "Whore's Cumhole".
Naturally I was keen to locate this wonderous place, so I returned to Google Maps and searched for whores.
Google found no actual settlements, but did present a number of websites (With their concordant geolocations) mentioning the word. The brilliant thing, though, is the box that appeared top left, in the "sponsored links" box. It was a sponsored link to "single-chat dot co dot you kay", with the legend:
"WHORES IN YOUR REGION"
Which at first was hilarious because it seemed like Google was offering to run a local business search, but on further thought becomes entertaining because it gives you some idea of what single-chat dot co dot you kay think of their clientele.
I just thought I would mention.
