Scream of the Shalka is now fully online. Jolly good wheeze! It does rather fall into one or two tried-and-tested Cornell patterns, but it's still fresh and exciting, and the Doctor has more character development and general engagement than Paul McGann ever did. (More a comment on script than actor - McGann was a fantastic doctor working with terrible material, I always say.) All the better for being official BBC fodder, of course, and what back-story Cornell lays out opens up many more possibilities than it closes off.

There is a page with the glorious music available, but only (as is by now infuriatingly traditional for the BBC) to stream and not to download. If anyone knows how to get their hands on a saveable file from those links, I would be most grateful, and open to recompense. Likely by way of artwork.

Homo sapiens has minutes to live. I have to connect with the Shalka, and I can't do it without you, so - no pressure.

I am the Master, and you will ... come to like me when you get to know me, my dear Ms Cheney.

Die, Doctor, Die!

- Permission to howl, sir?
- Permission denied.
- Ummmmmmmm.

I doubt that we will ever, as he promised, reach the place he calls "Bognor Regis".

The English will love it. They'll probably try to conquer the world all over again. Which would be bad.

Permission to thump him, sir.
