V for Verydisappointing

"Unfortunately, the "V for Vendetta" film is pretty much a travesty. It's not entirely unlike a truncated and re-arranged version of the comic's story, but it mucks about with the characters- especially V- to a dismaying extent, and completely disregards the original story's atmosphere and message. Not to get into politics."

Arse! I was afraid that this would happened. Hollywood should never be allowed within sniffing distance of anything with any kind of quality or message within the plot as all it does is sanitize it and end up screwing up the original story.

I shall wait to see it before passing judgement. I am not particularly a fan of the comic, nor am I an adaptation purist. I'll probably enjoy it a lot unless they've made it as badly as they made their matrix sequels
