Shit! Fuck shit! Shitting fuck!

For something like twenty minutes this morning I walked into and out of my living room, grabbing various things from my bedroom as I remembered them. Gloves. Scarf. Dice. Book. Every time I entered the living room I glanced over at my bag of presents and said to myself, "Ho ho, yes I have not yet forgotten the bag of presents, there it is. It is there, clearly visible so that I will not forget it. Presents, presents, presents."
Guess where the bag of presents is now?
So, this means I have to swing home before D&D tonight ... or leave presents until next Monday (maybe next weekend, I don't know). One will make me half an hour later to geek, and the other will make presents a whole week late. What do people think? Will there be geek next Monday? Is it too close to Christmas? TELL ME! TELL ME NOW!
In other news, I heard Ozzy and his daughter's Christmas song ("Changes") in the car this morning. It's currently number one in the popular hit parade. Jesus, it's bad. I don't know a great deal of Ozzy, and nor have I ever heard the original version of the song, but it was just this bland, bland saccharine ballad duo hell song thing. I could not believe it was him. Dear God, Ozzy, no. What have you become? A half-hearted attempt to relaunch his daughter's flagging pop career, looks like.

Date: 2003-12-15 02:42 am (UTC)I love and respect Ozzy, but this was such a bad bad idea.
I refuse to listen to the singles chart, on the grounds that it only takes several hundred sales to get into the top twenty these days.
What the fuck was he thinking....
D&D next monday is still on as far as I'm aware. We'll have to confirm stuff tonight.
Not good news...
Date: 2003-12-15 02:42 am (UTC)Arwel is going to be in Wales.
It's looks like you may have to be late today. The only other workaround I can see is if you give Arwel his pressie later tonight when dropping him off home and then you could always pop round next Monday will presents and we can go to the pub with the remaining D&D crew? You wouldn't be able to drink but then I would drive too (though from not quite the same distance, I'll admit...). Maybe. It's another option.
Or we''l wait for you. We love you [and your presents]after all ;->
And if it makes you feel better - I do this kinda thing all the time. No, that hasn't worked...
