Here's the test:

Write a procedural with instructions on how to set a clock.

Hand random person said instructions with clock.

Watch them go.

Resist the urge to step in to tell them what you actually meant.

Go back to step one.

I did this for years. It's a good gig, provided the people you're working for aren't complete idiots. But I suspect that's true of most professions...

I spent most of today writing up the procedure for adding a new print queue.
Prior to that I was writing up the Server Build documentation.

Gets bloody annoying after a while.
