Managed to leave my contact lens solution at richc and ajon's place yesterday, and me without any spares. I have produced some for tonight, but last night I had to leave them overnight in plain old saline solution.

While reasonably hygenic, this is not best comfortable.

This is my plan, but I couldn't go another night on just the saline. Oh well, I think it was on the empty side - would have had to buy some more soon anyway.

asda trafford park or boots in the trafford center are open late. Get a travel size (or if you are really nice to the people in boots a sample kit) and use that when visiting in future.

It was midnight and I was on my way to bed, I wasn't about to get the car out again.

In the past I have made a point of keeping at least one spare set of everything at home^[1]. I think I stopped doing that during my recent spate of poverty.

[1] Rather than keeping a spare set of everything in my travel kit. I live out of my wash bag, which is something I picked up the last time I lived in a house with two bathrooms - but even when I have just the one I tend to just keep the wash bag in the bath room and live out of it there. Saves packing it all up every time I go anywhere which, with my hobby, is often.

just don't make the mistake I made when staying at Mufi's. No lotions as had originally planned to go home (with you, as it happens) but booze got the better of us & we decided to make a night of it. Used shot glasses & left lenses in water over night. G was ok as she has hard lenses. Mine are soft & expanded which was a sod. Ended up putting a load of salt in to shrink them & then rinsed, but still stang.

I probably do, but only because one of bacony's exes dumped them in our house and didn't want them back.

I do mean to watch them at some point but I strongly suspect that they will proceed at that point to the charidee shop.
