Thinking about The Horse And His Boy got me pondering ... since Tolkien and Lewis were reputedly such good friends, is it coincidence that they each named a village and a horse, respectively, after cheese?

Ah ... I am not the first person to have this thought.  Hooray for the Internets!

All the Harry Potter characters are named after British Towns that people can't remember the postcodes for. Odd but true.
