Jobbly update, par-tay

Apparently HR have declined the job application on the grounds that in their expect (non-technical) opinion my CV does not match with the job spec - I am too much of a developer and not enough of an all-rounder.  The people who actually want to hire me (including the Technical Director, who has only read my CV and already desperately wants me on board) are going to try and push it through, and are apparently looking at getting me on board as a contractor while they sort it all out.  It is all up in the air.  This does not stop me from applying for other jobs.

Party Notification

In other news: Clear your diaries for the 12th November - I am planning to throw a modest birthday bash with the help of Chez Bennée.  You're probably invited.  Except you.  Yes, you.  Nah, I'm just kidding, you're alright.

Crash space available on an ad-hoc basis, I don't think there are any spare beds as such but we do have inflatable technology.  And the lovely sofas, of course.

I do not. Maybe I should. I always though of them as slightly mercenary ... like wedding lists. I mean, at least you know that it's something they like and haven't got yet, but still, I'd rather something personal. It's the thought that counts.

I would imagine we'll still be going by that point. Certainly Alex will be disappointed if we are not, that's when he gets back from the theatre.
