For those who keep track of such things, there are three new Random Encounters up at http://randomencounters.webhop.net . Two of them have been in SOS newsletters already and one is due for this month.

Thought about holding it back until [livejournal.com profile] batelf went to press, but if I did that then I wouldn't get around to putting it up for three months on account of me being pathetic. And it's late and I'm going to bed. Kisses!

[Edited to correct inference of procrastination. I'm the shit one, not [livejournal.com profile] batelf.]

This is the first time I looked at any of your stuff properly. You're good.

I realise you prolly get asked this a lot but have you considered writing something a bit longer? Or maybe you already do and I'm just being dim. The strips have a nice look and feel to them, but the jokes are in some cases too obscure. Having said that, you do capture the essence of LRP: I like the way the make-up is done. Not a visual-art person meself but i know what I like.

obscurity...

A lot of Andy's random encounters can come across as obscure because they tend to be based on events that happened and therfore may not make sense to non-SoSites. Its all part of our cunning plan to ensnare you all into the clique :-P

I'd realised the stripes were based on SoS, but at that particular step in the no-sleep-cycle I was a bit less than coherent. Sorry. The more generic ones are still funny. The "Aargh", "Maharg", "Aye" strip is funny without knowing anyone involved (to a LRPer anyway), as is "You do realise she's married to someone else, not you?"/"A technicality" one (which works on a completely non RP level).

As it happens, we need a cool design to stick on a T-shirt so we can fund Pagga.

And your art rocks. Would you like to Volunteer?
