Survey says...
Following the recent call for comments on the Doctor Who website, the web team have made an interesting breakthrough - so many people complained about the RealMedia format that they've been given permission to broadcast some things in Windows Media.
(Yes, it's still a closed format, but it's still quite a step forward.)
There's also a full and complete explanation of exactly why they usually lag behind fansites with news (which is pretty much what I expected - they have to wait until things are officially confirmed). And kittens!
On another note, it's nice that they have provided (by popular demand) a desktop wallpaper of "that kiss", but there's none of "that other kiss"...

It shows that either the Who site is so important to them that they're willing to put up with the extra expense, or that there's little enough traffic for it not to matter (I think the former). Either way, it shows they're no longer exclusive bedfellows...
