I feel a sudden, overpowering urge to post a link to some ignorant bigots.

I assure you it is nothing at all to do with this and I have never heard of one of these.

I'm not even sure if I've allowed Google to index these pages anyway. Oh well, can't hurt.

*a much politer word than I used on my forum I can assure you...

Whilst I may agree with their views slightly more than some others, generally they do talk a lot of rubbish and do other more sensible Christian groups no favours at all. (I cringed a lot when I heard them on the Radio 4 Today program the other day).

Everyone should go and read the "ideal" Queen's speech.

Sweet fucking jesus christ. I think that it would be in the best interests of the UK if this group were quietly put to rest one dark evening.

I don't agree with a lot of their opinions but I would feel less aggrieved at this continual "Look at the silly Christians" if you lot would look at some extremeist sites for other religions.

I get so angry about this sort of thing: there wasn a guy on the radio the other day saying that Christians were evil because of the crusades. HELLO! That was 800 years ago! People are being stoned in extremist muslim areas TODAY for showing elbows.

I am not saying for a second that I think Christianity is blameless, but next time people feel the need to have a crack at it please bear in mind that not all of us are like that and there are other faiths out there which demand equal censure (deep sigh - no I don't have any in mind and no I don't have a particular axe to grind here and no I don't believe that their bad behaviour justifies ours).

Then again, what do I know - I am officially a "dangerous liberal".

For clarity: I don't believe the Christian church contains a greater or lesser proportion of ignorant bigots than the rest of the world.

All I'm saying here is that Christian Voice are ignorant bigots; no more, no less.

Yeah I know. Just makes me sad.

I could happily go and grab some sites for other religions (Judaism especially) that would make your toes curl with rage.

Two wrongs, however, probably wouldn't make a right. The option is still there, though, should you desire it.
