This indecision's bugging me

I have until Thursday to decide whether or not I will cancel my WoW account (account is automatically renewed on Friday for three months).  I'm not getting all that much out of it at the moment, TBH, so I'm leaning towards not.  Maybe I'll cancel and put the money towards KotOR2...

1. What do you wear to bed?
Boxers usually.  It means you don't have to change the sheets as often, right?

2. What side of the bed do you sleep on?
My bed only has one side.

3. Do you sleep with a stuffed animal?
Nope.

4. Blanket/bed hog?
I actually don't know.

5. Do you make your bed everyday?
Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha aha hahah hah ah ahahaaaa.

Cool ... that'll tide me over until it comes out on budget or whatever (I have this bizarre preference for legal copies of games - I think it's something to do with registering ratings, I have no problem with running illicit copies of Photoshop etc. Though, that said, I have no problem with borrowing other people's legal copies).

Also it will remove the trepidation about whether or not it'll run on my machine. :)

I like having the originals but I find that demos don't really let you get the overall feel of a game. It may be fun blasting about a demo for one level but when you but the game and find out level 2 and 3 are no different you get a little peeved.

It won't run on mine unfortunately and it won't run on the wifes laptop properly either.

No need to hurry, not like I'm going to play it ever again. The only games I want to revisit at the moment are Fallout 2 and maybe Ultima 7, but even for those classics life's too short.

The addict in me is saying renew the thing and play it more. You can always get goons like me to run instances which are much more fun than solo questing as long as you are in a good group (that and Zul'Farrak has nice priest drops)

The realist says that you have been on 3 times in the last month and you are wasting your money!

More than 3, I think I'm going on about 2-3 times a week. But yeah, it's not exactly gripping me with the obsession that it seems to others^[1]. As I may have mentioned once or twice, I am beginning to see that I'm not actually a MMORPG player - I much prefer a good single-player campaign.

It's a shame, because I have been enjoying using it as an online communication medium. What it needs is a way to talk with people when they're playing from outside the game ... maybe integrate an MSN client into the game or something. :)

Annoyingly I'm busy every night this week (unless I don't go to Kendal on Tuesday - we are in talks regarding the office being locked that morning), or I'd take you up on that offer of Zul'Farrak...

I'm getting a similar vibe, thoiuyg it's more because I don't appear to be going anywhere and there doesn't seem to be a plot or end in sight...

The plot is there, but you need to read all the quest blurb carefully to pick it up, it is also very slow to form and more apparent as you complete more quests and gain more levels. At the end of the day, most of the enjoyment of the game is from the multiplayer aspect and the roleplay of creating your own plots and schemes.

There is a group of people on both sides on our server who are well up for rp events and who will react to things that do not have tangible in game rewards. You just need to learn to avoid the cockmaggots
