kingandy | Interview

Well that went well. The interview was with a man named Fenner at Meantime IT. He practically offered me the job on the spot, for a three month probation thing naturally. I am meeting with another man, called Steve, at 8:30 tonight in Piccadilly for an informal technical interview but Fenner said he didn't think it would be a problem. This means I will not be visiting anybody's pre Star Wars video night, but since I hadn't said I was coming yet anyway I don't think this will cause too much disruption.

The company is far, far away but I will only be required to go there 2-3 days out of the week; when in the office employees are put up in a B&B for the night, meaning the big drive will only be twice a week. The rest of the time I will be working from home, which will be a new experience and will no doubt test my self-control.

1-2 nights away from home each week may disrupt my social life somewhat, but that's a small issue. They have promised me a laptop. A fancy laptop. It will be awexome.

I am still going to the interview with RWE Nukem tomorrow because it is never wise to close off one's options. We shall see.
