Heard back from CFS this afternoon - it's a no.  Apparently they really liked my presentation and thought my skills were great, but I fell down on the "competency" part of the interview - I had to give examples of when I'd demonstrated specific qualities (like "dealing with a difference of opinion") and I stumbled a lot and paused for thought.  I really should have been a lot more prepared for that.  I'd had the questions in advance, and behaved as though it was being sprung on me.  Ah well, c'est la vie.

Unrelated news:  LJ paid account has run out.  I may wait until I am employed again to renew it.

There was something else, I'm sure.
