This is me in my secondary costume (changed for dinner on Saturday evening and couldn't be bothered digging out the flight suit again)... I was going for rough post-apocalyptic future so there's bits of advanced tech and the rough jumper. Not sure how well the jumper worked; I picked it out because it was reasonably chunk knit, and it had that nice DS9-style split collar and (though you can't see it) leather thonging pretending to hold the sleeves on. Leather patches on the elbows too, bizarrely. The trousers are ski pants - I liked the bright yellow piping and many pockets.

Hair is a lot messier than I expected. Oh well, everybody loves me anyway.

I think so. Katy was using them all weekend, I suppose it depends on whether she remembered to pack them or not ... if I'd remembered to ask, I could have brought them around yesterday. Oh well. :)

There's nothing wrong with mussed-up, manly flowing locks. Besides in the future they'll probably have electro-friction combs and as with any such product there are bound to be times when you forget to charge it and the damn thing won't work properly...

Mussed-up, manly and flowing, maybe. But that photo is puffed-up, frizzy and drooping...

I think perhaps a better conditioner might have helped. Usually I use Pantene but I got some new "Shower Gel And Hair Conditioner" on Thursday and wanted to try it out. I think perhaps it was not good.

You've got all this stuff, it's like hair but it's subtly wrong. And you look sort of not-fat, what's the word. Thin. What's going on?

As I say, the hair looks like a big ball of candyfloss on account of bad conditioner. (Selfnote: Must go to shops.) I think having the top part tied back (and compressed by the band of the goggles) probably didn't help it look normal either.

Perhaps I have been a little misleading in my recent posts on the subject of obesity ... I've never been fat, I'm a good weight. But I do have a gut. It's not noticeable in that picture because I'm wearing a dark jumper and holding it in.
