Got a text message (!) from the agency dealing with the CFS contract, apparently there's some delay on the part of the guy at the Co-Op.

I mostly mention this because, text message!  It sort of makes sense since she's not in the office today and, you know, she has my mobile number.  But it's still notable because I think that's the first time.

Bin is out the back. Just empty the kitchen bin and take that and the bag by the back door to the bins on the back alley.

PWC acting for the accident group laid off all their staff by text message. There was then hurried sending of letters when they realised how bad this would look.

That's not quite true. All the external staff were laid off by text message. The internal staff received an email advising them they wouldn't be paid for that month's work and to wait around for more info. Several hours later , we were told that we no longer had jobs - not that we'd already guessed that or anything...
