A non-car-related post.

Today's walk was not so dull as I thought it would be. I went down the first road I tried last week, because it is a pleasant country road rather than a horribly busy main road. Was entertained by the miniature radio that I brought with me, though the arial wasn't very good and I had to keep waving it around like a loon to get any kind of reception.

Must find some sort of viable alternative power source for my MP3 player pen drive. It runs on AAA batteries and seems to eat through them at quite a rate. Maybe some rechargeables, or something.

I went on a quest to find out where I should dispose of batteries so they don't harm the environement. Answer, throw them in the bin because they go to land fill anyway :-(

Funky, but I think impractical in this climate. I'm reasonably sure my current stick doesn't get 8 hours of solar exposure in a day, and it has more storage space anyway.

I hear the latest Rio has about 20GB of storage... also, TEH FUTUR IST HEAR.
