Finally heard back about that job I interviewed last week; I did not get it. Apparently it was nothing on the technical front, they were simply after somebody energetic, bright-eyed and busy-tailed, and I do usually come across as somewhat laid back.  It is a failing of mine.  In my last job I was advised to try to look more stressed by things, since cow-orkers were apparently annoyed that I could be so relaxed as everything fell down around us.

In an unrelated story, I appear to have left my car insurance documentation in Ilkley, which is annoying as I need to tax my car before the end of the month, and because I know almost exactly where it is.  Mayhap I shall visit mother some time mid next week.
