Indecision

kingandyAm trying to stat an Artificer character, and I find myself with 6 points left to spend (out of 24). This seems unreasonable and I am trying to find ways to spend them without powergaming. For example, I have lowered my Mind stat because I believe it suits the character, and while I could easily afford to put it back up - and the benefits are not inconsiderable - I am somewhat reluctant. I could blow it all on starting cash but that seems like such a waste. There must be a happy medium. Maybe I'll buy all the various weapons uses, even though I can't afford to own any of them...

nattydreadi doesn't have as much spare cash as previously thought, so I'm blowing all 6 skill points on starting cash (give me 12 silver = 1 gold = 1 sword). I'll put in a note saying any spare cash is to be changed back into weapon skills. Bah.
