Did no decorating yesterday; frittered the evening away playing through Dungeon Siege again. Would you like to know more? ) I feel some small guilt over this. But then I remind myself of the nights I stayed in waiting for [livejournal.com profile] stsquad to show up so we could get started, and he went to the pub or whatever instead, and it goes away.

When Alex eventually got home we watched TV in our dressing-gowns[1]. On tonight's menu were episodes of both Stargate (S9) and Lost (S1). People are right about Lost - when they've got through the first round of back-story establishing flashback episodes, the plot really does kick in in a major way. I think Locke is my favourite character, though Sawyer is still the prettiest. Not as pretty as Stargate, though, which had a scene near the beginning where Browder and Shanks both had their arms out. Mrr.

[1] We're not a couple.

Not a link for the reptile-phobic amongst you (I'm looking at you, [livejournal.com profile] batelf) - visit Collider.com to find out why Sam Jackson's forthcoming movie (previously "Pacific Air 121") is slated to be renamed SNAKES ON A PLANE.

Alternatively, you can see that conversation reposted here withoutthe big-ass picture of snakes. Also, see this here for where I originally heard about this PHENOMENONZ.

Additional: The story behind the name behind the movie. Not the writer, but somebody who almost signed on to rewrite it - until they changed the name.
