After ignoring it for about a year, figuring it was another "Heavy Gear" style mechs-in-fighting-arenas show, I am suddenly all up ons Megas XLR.

In unrelated news, I just finished next week's Special School strips. They are doozies.

I am quite proud of today's.  At least, script-and-pacing wise, I'm not so sure about the art.

(no subject)

Went to eye test.  After some discussion with the people there, I decided to spend the NHS voicher on some new glasses and pay for the contact lenses myself.  (The voucher will pay for the entirety of a pair of basic spectacles or half the contact lenses, because contact lenses are basically a vanity item.  Even with my enormous prescription it's still better value to get the glasses on the voucher.)

I can more or less afford this.  Might not be going out clubbing though...
