Just completed two online tests for CFS - one testing my DHTML knowledge and the other quizzing me on Dreamweaver MX.  The former was easy as a very easy thing (though I took my time and double-checked with online references, as it said I was allowed to do, in case of trick questions).  The second was harder - it had something like half the time allowed on each question and while some of them were low-level questions designed to catch out WYSIWIG web designers ("when does this javascript event fire?"), a lot of them were very specific to the application ("what menu option do you select to do this?").  While I have technically used DWMX I turned most of the bells and whistles off, worked entirely in handcode HTML mode and didn't use any of the FTP / site management features, which seemed to be the focus of the questions.

Oh well, got a phone interview with them tomorrow at 10:30, fingers crossed.  Hopefully I won't forget since I have to ring them.

Rang for telephone interview; it seems the gentleman is out of the office.  Whoops!

EDIT: ... Just checked the email. Interview is tomorrow. Whoops.

[livejournal.com profile] stsquad, take note.

(Yes, I'm still reading through it.  I wish to make a reasoned judgement based on the entire series.)

ADDITIONAL: Big points for this one. It took me a couple of read throughs to spot the sight gag - very subtle.
