State of play

Alright

Apparently this contract thing is still in the hands of the company in question - the agency guy sent CVs over before Christmas for them to consider and is going to ring them later today.  It is still very much only a potential.  Back to jobseeking as usual then.

So.  It's Tuesday, I'm in Manchester, and I don't currently have any plans for the evening.  I'm assuming, given the Runequest fatalities and the incomplete state of Mage setup, there will be no Bolton-based geekery tonight.  There's a chance I may be busy for the next three weeks.  Anyone want to maybe I don't know hang out or something?

Closure

Looking back upon my journal I note there were two tracks that nobody guessed in the lyrics meme post.  Entertainingly, one of these is the one listed as my current music (oh ho clever LJ client).

UPDATE (20:03) - There seems to be some problem with the trams, which means that they are few and far between, which at this time of day means they are packed like sardines in a cat. After waiting an hour and a half I decided the effort very much outweighed the reward.
