(no subject)

Am currently at PPP night (Poker, Porn and Port, though "Port" has been interpreted as a general "Booze" option and I have been drinking mostly Dooley's and milk). I am posting on Big Gay Phill's laptop on Bu's wireless broadband magic thing. Just so you know.

This post is mainly to note that this evening was the first time I've actually explicitly admitted to being gay. Chris (Holland) asked, and I answered. Before now I've ben vague and noncommittal, or said something about liking girls too ("but mostly the boys").

Anyway. That is all.

"Hello andy! I'm sitting here at my computer and getting really annoyed by a dog yapping incessantly somewhere. So I thought I know, I'll listen to the radio. And I ended up listening to a Radio 1 archive programme listed as Classic rock/pop. And it was when they all went down a coalmine for some really obscure reason, and for the first record they played Shaft - get it? yes very clever. Well, that was the first time I realised that when they sing Shaft - particularly the background singers - it sounds exactly like Chef. Which obviously isn't a coincidence. But they never mentioned that in the programmes I've seen about how Isaac Hayes came to be Chef. Did you realise that? Maybe it's really obvious to Americans!"

She goes on to talk about cornish pasties and a visit from the Onion man, but I just thought I'd share that.
