The evening went much better. Went over to the Picadilly Tavern, where people had congregated to hang out with the visiting kmazzy before she and myki went off to see Nelly Furtado ("You say potato, I say..."). Saw many lovely, lovely people, including lord_blipvert, renniek, samharber, redhillian, ephrael, maddam, Manga John, Dave Macleod (both XLJ) and of course psion_x, around whom I spent much of the evening wrapped. It was a good evening. In fact it was an evening of much love - I don't think my tongue has been in so many people's mouths in a single night before. I now have to recalculate my LJ slut stats.

High points of the evening ( were... )

Today: Went to Bolton, had picnic. There is little to compare with the simple pleasures in life, like lying on the grass, in the sunlight, with your head on one man's chest and someone else's on yours. Adjourned to pub. Much banter and conversation. Then went to park, had sequel picnic. Many people were there but I can't be bothered. I love them all. Then myki left his sweeties in my car, they are delicious. PS I also have your cheap pic-a-nic basket.
