I will be buying a new car then.
As I was leaving work, I pulled up to the T-intersection and waited for the traffic to stop passing by me (like images of tombstones, images of tombstones). The time came to restart my car (Vroom! Vroom!), but the car decided to stall (VroomsplutterNO!). The man in the car behind me did not, apparently, notice this and decided to drive into me. D'OH!
The car is not too badly wounded, as naturally we were not going very fast at the time. The bumper ("fender"?) is a bit dented and one of the lights is a bit sore, but everything seems functional. I plan to meet the man at lunch to see if he can straighten it out (since we work on the same business estate). But to be honest I don't care since I was thinking of buying my friend's car anyway. Now I just have to find some way to get rid of my old car; I don't want to junk it as it is still a good little car and could serve somebody loyally for many years to come.
