Cars And That
Jan. 6th, 2005 06:18 pmAfter checking my bank account, I decided it was time to change car insurers; Churchill's quote was considerably lower than what I was paying Tesco. Upon telephone conversation with Tesco the margin narrowed considerably, as they confirmed that yes, those claims made against me go in the box marked "Claims Made In The Last Three Years" on the online order form, but it was still a big enough change to be worth it.
(I really hate that about car insurance. They reward you for not claiming, and punish you for claiming.)
I've probably made a very foolish decision, considering the deposit they demand to pay monthly, but the monthly payments will still be lower and I'll be paying lower over all and Tesco are stupid and I hate them.

You represent... naivete.
So innocent and trusting... you can be very shy at
times, but it's only because you're not sure
how to act. You give off that "I need to
be protected vibe." Remember that not all
people are good. Being too trusting will get
you easily hurt.
What feeling do you represent?

Date: 2005-01-06 06:51 pm (UTC)But yes, I do seem to suffer under some manner of inferiority complex; I can never see the good in anything I've created. All I see are the flaws, and what it isn't. I'm only able to even think about doing any sort of commercial art these days because people have constantly told me I'm fantastic (which I internally translate to "acceptable"). And even then, when somebody actually pays me money I have this vague sensation that maybe I've somehow tricked them into thinking I'm a "proper" artist...

Date: 2005-01-07 01:20 am (UTC)I get that a lot, now I've just come to accept the fact I radiate geek and people think I know what I'm talking about. Anyway it wasn't your art I was thinking about, more when you have a few drinks and are entertaining the ladies (and gentlemen). Unless thats a "have to be drunk" thing?
