So we were watching Battlestar Galactica and it's that one with the refinery and there's Apollo, some chick and an asian guy doing an attack run and I think to myself, "Oh ho, the token ethnic guy is totally gonna get it because he's ethnic".  And like the very next second a laser bolt or whatever shoots right through his canopy and shoots him through the heart.

American studios still have this tiny blind spot regarding the ethnics.

Yeah, but you'd expect something during the wind-down at least, especially if he was Starbuck's rookie. Given the massive amount of screentime devoted to how much she wished she was out there.
