I'm not thinking of a hat, no. Although, while there's nothing particularly SF about them, they're not exactly anachronistic. What part of a hat is not sci-fi? You need something to cover your head, there's only so many design changes you can go through... and if it ain't broke, why fix it?
Looking through the (six) photos on the site, there's only about three hats total... and I'm assuming this is the "Sub-Blake's-Seven-Convention" stuff you're talking about (at least the one on the right). As a counterpoint, I would draw your attention to this one.

I'm not certain, but I think Mr Dave Lascelle (the one in the hat in that photo you posted) was playing the part of a ref.
