Farscape Broadcast News
Nov. 18th, 2004 03:54 pmSky know a good thing when they see it - in a joint bid with "a terrestrial broadcaster" (so, ITV or C4 then?) they have secured the UK broadcast rights to the Peacekeeper Wars. It will not be shown on the BBC or Sci-Fi (UK), which seems a shame since the Beeb have been such staunch supporters of the show from the beginning (and obviously SF had a more direct hand in its creation, though I don't expect SFUK had a lot to do with that).
"Peacekeeper Wars will now be shown on Sky One on January 16 and 23 next year." So now you know.
Here is the story: http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/news/cult/2004/11/16/15512.shtml
Check out the date of the report[1] - happy birthday to me, I guess.
[1] Also Ben Browder's arms. Mmm.
