What's the most serious medical condition/injury you've ever suffered and did you nearly die of it?

Ingrown toenail. I was very young at the time and remember nothing about it. Actually it is a matter for debate whether that is more or less serious than chicken pox, which I also suffered at a slightly less young age, and do remember. Actually, come to think of it, I almost drowned at school, and had to give up a promising football career when I fractured my arm in a car crash with my best girl....

Sorry to say there has been nothing life-threatening thus far, I realise you like to think of me in pain.

Have you ever experienced genuine red-mist hate?

MasturbatiI surf teh intarewebs, and also play computer games or draw. That's when I'm on my own, though, socially my main hobby is the roleplaying.

Once, arguing with my best friend in the dinner queue at middle school (9-13 year olds). I have no idea what we were arguing about but I have a very vivid memory of suddenly lashing out with my foot and kicking him once, sharply, in the shin. I'm reasonably sure that's the only time I've drawn blood. Naturally, I was mortified; he was none too pleased either.

Another time that came close was my second year of uni when I returned from a weekend at home to find somebody had taken my CD player from my room and was using it in theirs. That got me pretty steamed.

Oh, and of course there was The Incident at Leeds Festival, but that was more anger than hate. And I can't stay mad at gowhonker for long.

Mothra's combat strategy is a compelling one; it is hard to go against total air superiority. However, I am forced to give this one to the tubby one. His Super Peace Powers are an awesome force. He would baffle the moth with confusing plaintives, then follow it up with a deep sense of inner peace that brings the moth to a sense of one-ness with the universe, rendering further combat impossible. Mothra concedes in the second round.
