Something I don't think I noted earlier.
In the documentary on the fourth Star Wars DVD, the narrator proclaims that in 1997 Lucas "returned to - and perfected" his masterpiece[1].
That just amused me, since it's packaged with the 2004 edition, in which further changes have been made.
That is all.
[1] I use the word in its technical sense, meaning "the piece a Journeyman creates in order to graduate to Master," rather than its more colloquial usage, which has come to mean something akin to "Magnum Opus".
