Something I don't think I noted earlier.

In the documentary on the fourth Star Wars DVD, the narrator proclaims that in 1997 Lucas "returned to - and perfected" his masterpiece[1].

That just amused me, since it's packaged with the 2004 edition, in which further changes have been made.

That is all.

[1] I use the word in its technical sense, meaning "the piece a Journeyman creates in order to graduate to Master," rather than its more colloquial usage, which has come to mean something akin to "Magnum Opus".

So those new DVD's have even more scenes added/altered? I have seen the older remastered part IV, with the extra CGI Jabba bit and seemingly lots of added blaster fire (or did I just imagine that), but now there's more?

Did they take out/modify that scene when the Stormtroopers walk under that blast door in the Death Star and one of them bangs his head?
