LATE NITE ROUNDUP

Just finished Data Warehousing project (probably - needs some retuning and optimising but at least it's storing the data without throwing any errors).  I can now proceed to Battlehwak with nothing on my mind.

No change there, then.

Other events this week:

MOT

Raj went in for his yearly road-worthiness test (actually a few days late, but it's not like they jump out at you from behind billboards, and his tax isn't due for another six months so there's no big rush).  He failed.  Apparently he needs a fair amount of work done on his lights - bulbs replacing and realigning - as well as something about the brakes and a spot of welding.  Should come to about £200 total, so not so bad I suppose - still cheaper than buying a new car.  Though I have now spent twice as much in maintenance as I did on actually buying him, it was all spread out in little chunks...

Anyway, they're doing the lights this afternoon but can't get the rest of it in - I've to take him in during next week.  I just have to not crash until then.  Hee hee.

Clothing

Bought emergency sleepover clothes on Tuesday (because I hadn't planned on going to gowhonker's - I'm thinking of following batelf's lead and leaving a spare set of clothes there, but it's only a short step from that to toothbrushes, and that's probably too far considering we're not a couple).  I got them from Asda.  The socks are lovely; nice and thick, but not the padded kind, just thick cotton.  Warm and cozy and just the right side.  The T-shirt was nice too, as was the jumper.  But the bozers ... they have no fly!  Still, at least I remembered to buy Large since my previous Asda underwear encounter; they're not as snug as they perhaps could be, but at least there's plenty of room in front.


Now I away to Battlehwak.  All die; oh, the embarassment.

u have a white t shirt still here, its been in the spare room, leaving stuff is a bad move, i started with a pair of pants, i now have a set of drawers and the drawers under the bed and am bursting out of them,not to mention all the kitchen stuff i had to take a rucksack worth of stuff home a few weeks ago as i realised all my stuff was here, so i dont think u leaving some grudds and a toothbrush is that bad, i mean uve already bought an alarm clock for the room,
