Haiku, money, pens
Sep. 24th, 2004 03:26 pmBest Haiku ever.
Have some small newses. Yesterday was Performance Review, and I also got a teeny-tiny token raise - £500pa on top of what I was getting already. Better than nothing, I suppose, and I think it keeps me under the "student loans" repayment bracket.
Raj has a new windscreen. So shiny!
I have been experimenting with pens. I am quite fond of my new India Ink brush-pen, though must take care not to overdo the "massive thick sweeping line" thing. Which can be quite entertaining but makes it look a bit like a child's drawing. I may scan my trial drawings at some point, if peoples are interested.
Um ... that is all.
BONUS MEME from Chunky:
1. Think of a word you would use to describe me.
2. Go to Google Image Search and search for that word.
3. Select the picture you see as most fitting, and post it (or a link to it) as a reply, along with the word

Tart

Date: 2004-09-25 01:07 am (UTC)Cool
Date: 2004-09-25 03:19 am (UTC)The picture is in itself "cool" in that it contains a cow being abducted by aliens. I meant "cool" as in dry or collected, rather than "shades and leather jacket", but the picutre is equally inappropriate for both which is a nice bonus. And I've just noticed that while apciture is worth a thousand words, I don't seem to like posting just pictures and feel the need to waffle.
