The game is famous for being illogical if you haven't read the books, and nigh-impossible even if you have.

I always loved the idea of text games, but I also stunk horribly at them and needed hints and walkthroughs to finish them.

At least this one was funny.

I could never work out how to get through the screening door on the Heart of Gold.

I remember there being some bit where you had to have both "tea" and "no tea" in order to demonstrate a paradox somehow, but I don't remember if that was it.

And now, of course, I don't remember half of the stuff off the top of my head, so I can't get that far yet.

That is the part exactly!

The annoying part about HHGTG was that you had to do random things earlier on. Don't forget to feed the dog in the first act, for example...
