I'd rather an MP3 than a multi-changer. Because I don't want to leave my originals in the car (thievery), and if I'm going to make copies I may as well save CDs by compressing them. And it means I can shuffle them.
Buying car has put house-buying back by a short way. I will have to conserve funds more carefully. Even if I can get a 100% mortgage (as Nook and Sam both assure me is possible) I'll need a couple of grand for surveying and stuff. Also I'd like to keep a little back in case of emergencies (eg, buying a new car)...
