The first rule of Shit Music is that you do not admit to liking Shit Music.
The second rule of Shit Music is that you do not admit to liking Shit Music.
Third rule is that you listen to Shit Music alone; you do not play it in publc places, nor do you tap your feet to the song if anyone else is around.
Fourth rule; even if a couple of other people like it, it's a majority consensus paradigm world out there, and it's still Shit Music.
Fifth and final rule; everybody likes some Shit Music, but to admit to doing so is wrong.

It was only in the player because I had found it that morning and felt nostalgic, and further had yet to assemble any CDs for actual play beyond a random assortment of what I had on my hard disk. I had not owned a MP3 CD player for more than a week, prior to that such CDs had entered my repertoire only as a means of transporting MP3s from one place to another.
I note you do not touch upon the contents of my player on any other journeys, when such bands as The Ashes, The Snow Patrols, The Cake and The Ben Folds Fives graced your ears. So let us hear no more of selective quoting.
