No, i disagree with the theory - It's more of a reverse bell curve, with it being better if just the right number of people like it. Too much and it becomes commercial, and therefore bad, but too little and you have to wonder why nobody likes it.

I'm with you there. I like a lot of today's "indie" music but I'm gonna still like it tomorrow, even if it goes *shock*, *horror* "commercial".

It's used to be about the music man!

Im in The Greatest Inde Rock band of all time.
No one has heard anything we have ever done, including me.
We have no fans whatsoever and an equally large band size.
Now go out and by our stuff, allthough im not going to tell you where from or what its called as plugging yourself in such a way is bowing down to mass comercilsation and Sooooo uncool...
