I have tried to ring George Grundy estate agents several times, each time remaining unanswered.  It is like they do not want to sell their houses.

Oh well, it's not like I'm that desperate to move out of Alex's anyway.

Tried them again and they answered - but the Settle Street one has gone, and the only other one in that range appears to be owned by somebody insane. It requires "extensive modernisation" (the lady said she had not seen it herself but she gathered it needed kitchen and bathroom work done, and the front window is boarded up!), asking price is 45K , offers to be in by next wednesday, and apparently the highest offer would then go into the Bolton Evening News looking for higher offers. Madness I say.
