Weekend plans:

On Friday I will be sleeping in Stretford.  I'm also going to try to arrange a house viewing in Bolton, at some houses pkgem spotted.  They are dead cheap (£45K), which my Mum reckons means "in need of work", but I figure it is worth a look as it's more or less on the way home anyway.

Saturday I am being picked up from there by my cousin Ian and whisked away to a wedding.  No it is not my own, and no I am not marrying my cousin.  I will sleep in a Travelodge on Saturday night, after the reception and everything.

Sunday I return to Stretford.  That afternoon/evening I am free to do things, but these must culminate with a return to Stretford, as this is general policy for happy work on Monday.

So who wants to play?

ADDITIONAL: Oh alright, you can use the Daleks after all. (Full press release available at the BBC Cult site.) While I see the need for publicity, I can't help but think it would have been so much more fun to keep it under wraps and have they just appear. Like the Special Guest Star at the end of Spider-man 2. Oh well...

"Dead cheap" may mean "in need of work" but it may also mean "dodgy area". The house across from us that is the same as ours but without the conservatory has been valued at 62k.
However, since you have spent a number of years living in Levenshulme, I don't think it is anything you're not used to.
Of course, dead cheap may mean "dodgy area" and "in need of work" but hey, as you say, you don't know until you look! :-)

PS: 126 Settle Street has been on the market for a few days, It is just round the corner from my estate. The Estate Agent number is 01204 384384. I don't know how much it is but I wouldn't expect it to be expensive.
