kingandy: (Uhhh...)

Hmm, I think that I'm not as liberal as I would like to be - I told the quiz that an action can't be morally wrong if it's done in secret and nobody gets hurt, but then I decided that some of the examples (done in secret, when nobody got hurt) were wrong.  Possibly the confusion comes from the key phrases "morally wrong" and "gets hurt".  Remarkably, the quiz actually noticed this, and commented on it.  If only more quizzes did this, and kept track of "contradictory" answers instead of just adding scores ... you'd get much more accurate "D&D Alignment" type quizes then, if nothing else.

While we're on the subject of "morally wrong" - told [livejournal.com profile] bacony that I wasn't actually fantastically eager to move out with her1.  It didn't make a whole lot of sense financially or logistically, but I still felt like a total heel.  (Do "The Kids" still say that?)  Hopefully she can find somebody to share with, because she can't afford to rent by herself and would have to move darn sarf.  I don't want to lose her completely.

Her mum will be upset, she's already planning the wedding...

Katy has also implied that having found a place to rent (and a housemate to rent with) she would be less eager to move into whatever house I buy.  Which makes sense, it would be surplus movage and would rather leave whatever housemate she's found in the lurch.  Anyway, I seem to recall that she was not necessarily planning stay in the house for very long, only until she'd found a place of her own.  Or something.  Well the point is, depending on how things turn out, I may be on the market for a lodger of my own.  Several nicely-turned-out young gentlemen come to mind, some of whom have even expressed an interest in Manchester housing.  Will keep you posted.

1 Funny, usually the concern is over moving in with somebody.
