"Especially that jaw-dropping cliffhanger at the end"
I felt a bit let down. I was assuming there was an even more jaw-dropping cliffhanger in the last few minutes, bigger and more hanging than the mechanism Ben triggered (which, in retrospect, I'm guessing was the jaw-dropping cliffhanger you mentioned). The contents of the casket were surprising and intriguing, certainly, but hardly astounding or cliffhanging.
Still, a good season finale, with some moments where I didn't know which way they would jump and a genuinely impressive - yet subtly portrayed - demonstration of the Island's abilities.
And damn, what is up with Claire and her father (!).
