Mikey and I were talking about Darkplace t'other day, as we were watching The IT Crowd and Moss is from there... both very cool progs, so will watch with M when he's back - thanks for posting!!
I know of HV&J! Rob Schrab and Dan Harmon were also co-writers of the off-the-face-of-the-earth Scud: The Disposable Assassin, of which I was a huge fan for some time.
They were also involved with The Dead Alewives ("I cast magic missile!").
I got a smile out of some of it, but with Darkplace I was actually doubling over with laughter. Maybe it's because I know all the actors in this, whereas when I first saw Darkplace I had no idea what to expect.
Yeah, I saw darkplace for the first time at some party where I didn't know a lot of the people and I couldn't hear too well and then all of a sudden everything was clear and I was all WHOA
